I love Maxine. I've seen the panel but not the matching fabric, going to look for it.

Maxine on....

"Driver Safety" - "I can't use the cell phone in the car. I have to keep my hands free for making gestures."

"Lawn Care" - "The key to a nice-looking lawn is a good mower. I recommend one who is muscular and shirtless."

"the Perfect Man" - "All I'm looking for is a guy who'll do what I want, when I want, for as long as I want, and then go away. Or wait nearby, like a Dust Buster, charged up and ready when needed."

"the Technology Revolution" - "My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice."

"Aging" - "Take every birthday with a grain of salt. This works much better if the salt accompanies a large margarita."

Favoritefabrics.com will ship international and they have some of the fabrics. Google it and you may be able to find other places as well.

Thank you for mentioning us! We just got another shipment of Maxine last week, which was nice, because we thought we were going to have to wait a month or more until the next reprinting happened. But happily it's here now.

I love it!! Need some for a quilt for 1 of my cousins who seems to keep breaking her foot, and other parts. She'd get a kick out of this.

  I am in Salem SC right now and am only 2 hours away from a friend that lives in Acworth GA. I was visiting for a few days and we always make the quilt shop rounds when I am there. We were on a hunt for some fabric to match some material she had to make a quilt, I was not looking for anything for me but naturally I ALWAYS seem to find something I just have to have.

eightylady 06-07-2010 05:42 AM

CajunQuilter2, sound like you are very fortunate to live such a pleasant and interesting life :!: sounds, too, as if you chose your career, instead of "falling into it" as so often happens. Thanks for your reply.
