Thank you all for your sweet comments!! It was a fun quilt from start to finish. Just finding and collecting chicken patterns and fabrics was fun. Then making the blocks was a blast. Most of the applique was done on the machine and did not take long. We made and swapped blocks for three and a half years before we called a moratorium on the insanity-it could have gone on forever. All three of us used large pieces of leftover chicken fabric to piece our quilt backs-and I STILL have a stash. It was an illness I am glad to put to bed. Glad you all enjoyed it. :D

You should enter the quilt in the state fair! If I were the judge you would win the blue ribbon for sure. I think that is one of the neatest quilts I've seen. I can just picture that in my kitchen.
