WOW! What a find . . . Wonder what the history behind it is? That would be fun to find out if anyone knows. Maybe there is a family bible or journal lying around that might tell!

You might check with the Daughters of the Revolution. They have quite a collection. Many are donated, but you could see if they are interested.

So sad that he doesn't want to keep it in the family, but it's better that in will be in hands that will love and take care of it. I think a museum would be a great home for it, so it could be shared with many.

This lady spoke at a quilt guild meeting I attended and has a fabulous collection of antique quilts- she may be interested.
