Absolutely gorgeous! They were the perfect fabrics for the pattern. Did you end up with much of the bundle left? I ask because I love your quilt so much, I'm going to look for the pattern.

Any thoughts on how it will be quilted? Hope you will share a picture when it is done!

I got lots of practice with my seam ripper on this one. I made 300 flying geese blocks and 16 paper pieced units for the corners. The name of the pattern is Circling Geese by Presto Avenue Designs. I bought a kit at a quilt show mainly for the 11 half yard cuts of 11 different colors and the black fabric that came with it. The kit was on sale and I kind of liked the pattern that came with it. It was in a huge zip lock bag and I put it in my stash. Fast forward a few years.....I saw this pattern on line and had to have it. I ordered it and looked in my stash for FQ"s to get started making it when the huge zip lock bag fell on the floor in front of me and said "Make it with me!" so I did. I love how it turned out. I kept the colors in the same order all the way around the quilt. It was a challenge to put together. You start in the middle and work around and around. I had to count the geese and keep them going in the right direction and in the right color order. It took some time to make it but I love the end results.

I hope you plan to enter it somewhere (or a few somewheres); it's a sure winner. Just wonderful.

Love it! The colors are just right. Lot of "movement" with those flying geese.

I had 11 half yard cuts in the kit. I have probably 2/3 of each fabric left. I could make 2 more just like it easy but I would have to buy more black, gray and white prints. I just may have to make more of this pattern. I have 6 granddaughters and they are fighting over it already. LOL

As for quilting....I see lots of simple in the ditch stitching. I don't want to do anything that takes away from the colors or the design.
