yeah, i was almost re-living it with you, as i was reading. I will definitely be careful of this. We work so hard and then in an instant, some little thing...and then you slaved away and look how beautiful. What a relief. So glad you shared with us. Such a pretty quilt. :D

Great save!!! I mean what a nice design opportunity you had
Seriously...my heart would have dropped to my feet..it did when I was reading what happened to you. Can't wait to see the whole quilt when you are finished..it looks really great! |
What a beautiful way to save a boo-boo!

Sorry that happened to your pretty quilt but it sounds like you fixed it up. No one will ever know.

Looking forward to seeing your quilt finished and posted. Happy dance on a great save!

I'm nearly there - just borders to quilt, and binding to go on ..

OMG - what a thing to happen but as usual you had a bright idea to fix it!

The quilt is now finished (apart from a label to cover the small hole on the back!).
It was hard getting photos of the fmq. I didn't use too much of contrasting thread as its my first quilt with fmq. There are some wobbles and variations in stitch lengths, but I know there are no police here! Hope you like it. closer detail quilted border daisies It is flat - just the way it lays on the table! |
