It is an awesome quilt, very colourful and very intricate. I also would like to know the name of it, not that I would ever have the nerve to try it. Thanks for sharing.

Hope you have some headache tablets. Mine head was spinning just looking at the pattern.

Oh, my! That looks like so much fun! Where did you find the pattern?

MamaBear61 06-16-2010 01:16 PM

Wow, I can't even imagine tackling something like that.

Hahahaha, I agree with you totally. That is what I thought when I laid that map out lol.....but I love a challenge and it is not as bad as it looks. If you do one block at a time and do exactly as written, you can do it....

I bought the pattern in Paducha at Hancock's. I am sure you can get it on line there too....it was 48 or 50 dollars. It's called the colorful quilt by Jacqeline De Jone. I have already made a mistake on the block lol. I can see now that the last blue strip is supposed to be the border fabric. I am ripping it now hahahahah...

Are you kidding me? What an undertaking!

bearisgray 06-16-2010 01:28 PM

That will be stunning-

but what a challenge!

Did it come as a kit - or did you have to choose your own fabrics?
