I don't see why you couldn't try starching your fabric. The biasing actually helps to match seams and put the pieces together, because of that little bit of stretch. But it makes quilting harder. I got through it tho, and everyone seems happy with the quilting. I delivered this quilt tonight and his mama was thrilled with it. Soon the grad will see it and I can't wait to hear how he reacts.

Love this and so will the graduate. It's one of my favorite patterns too.
