OK, this is what I would do with the bias tape:
Take one end of the unfolded bias tape and pin at the top of the pouch by one of the end seams. (Fold tape over a bit at the beginning) Pin all around and then sew on. (Overlap the tape when you get back to the beginning by about 1/2".) Then refold the bias tape and either hand stitch to the inside or machine stitch. And presto -- pouch done! Clear as mud? |
Very pretty!!! I love the fabrics :D :D :D

That is so cute. And what a great job you did. The green on the top would look great.

Clear as mud? That made me laugh, for real! Thanks.
You know that was sort of the picture I had in my head, ... you confirmed it and explained it a little better. I think because I have no confidence I hesitate for fear of "messing it up." I think I need someone to hold my hand, or somebody's Grandma to patiently teach me...lol...I need to stop that, huh? The people on here are inspiring...thank you for taking the time to explain this. |
Thank you! : )
|
Yard sale, 25 cents, could not beat that! Thanks.
|
Thanks! I was happy for a first attempt at something. : )
|
Don't worry about "messing it up" -- we all have done our fair share of "unsewing".......
|
Lovely! I think green would be perfect!
|
Very pretty. I agree on the green as well
