Yes, get started. It took me a while to get up the nerve to start the cross because I had never done any of the things I had to do. I had never done paper piecing, or applique, or even stitch in the ditch. It doesn't get any easier because you put it off, I promise you that. Good luck! Can't wait to see it.

The wildlife one is my own design but the other I did from a picture I had seen and had a friend in the quilting guild make me a pattern.

All I can say is...WOW. The cross is lovely. And I love the use of the theme fabric.

I do not have a pattern but you can do as I did and show the picture to someone who is able to draw you a pattern. It is paper pieced and then appliqued. Good luck. Jo

There is no pattern. It was a paper pieced one and of course that elimnated the pattern when I tore it away. I only had a picture and a lady in my quilting guild drew me a pattern from that. Sorry.

I had no pattern. I showed a picture and one of the ladies at my quilting guild drew me a pattern. It was all paper pieced on the background so the pattern was gone once I tore the paper off. Sorry.
