I taught my two girls to quilt as well. My oldest daughter made 2 small quilts and the youngest made only 1/2 of one since she wasn't really "into that kind of thing". I homeschooled them for 9 years so I had the time.

I now use a june taylor cut and press, which I have almost worn out and I have only had it for about 5 months.lol |

I teach young children how to sew and the imagination they have is amazing..Please post pics as she completes her project as many of us will keep watching for it.

Lovely to see your daughter is going to take after you in the sewing tradition, my own DD is just coming round to it, fingers crossed! I am sure your daughter will want to see how her chosen colours will come together, get her started on joining them, doing it together, and it won't seen so daunting for her. Looking forward to seeing the top finished.
