I can't decide which side I like better...they are both so gorgeous!!!

Your reversible scrap quilt is absolutely beautiful. Would you mind giving me the block sizes of each side of the quilt and sizes to cut strips, etc.?

What a stunning quilt, I love it and the fact that it is reversible. How long did it take you? Also we have the same beds. I don't know which side I like the best, they are both so awesome.

Your quilt is just wonderful especially since it's a double sided quilt.

It's all been said but I want to add my praise for your inspirational work.

I am wondering, since it is a QAYG, if you did a full layout to get the colours right before you started, or if you set up a basic scheme (how? light/dark/certain tones?) and just followed that for each QAYG section?

Edited to say- I see from Ninnie's post on buggy wheels that it is just lights and darks, so I guess that answers my question. I am just amazed that something so random can produce something so harmonious and easy on the eye. Did you really not have to plan it any more than that?!!!

For the Buggy Wheels: the whole (light colored) squares are 2.5" and the HSTs finish at 2.5".

The string quilt strips were whatever width they ended up after I'd cut them to get straight sides. It doesn't even matter if they're off-grain since they're sewn down on both sides of each strip. Lots of pieced strips. Maybe I should've dubbed the string quilt side "everything but the kitchen sink"!
I sewed the strips onto flimsy paper & then after I'd squared them up with an 8.5" square ruler, removed the paper. The blocks appear to be on point but are actually four 8.5" squares with the four lighter segments sewn together.

Thank all of you for your wonderful encouraging words!
