Thank you! Please scroll up 4 or 5 posts to my explanation of the two-color binding. This was done QAYG as detailed in the link I put to "Ditter's String Quilt", about half way through her posting.

Great job, I like both sides! Now, is your stash all gone? Did you at least make a nice dent in it?

WOW, You made a really spectular double sided quilt. My DH would love something like that because it's heavy. Think I need to declare war on my scraps too. May in Jerse

n2scraplvr 06-19-2012 07:39 PM

Wow! Fantastic work! Love the first side best but both are winners! Guess you tamed those scraps well! Now you don't feel so inundated with scraps I bet!......let me guess.....you have more scraps now than ever! It's time for another one!:o

Fraew 06-19-2012 07:57 PM

My oh my...and 2 treats in 1 piece! Nicely done.

That two-fer came out great!! I have a QAYG on my bucket list. I just can't seem to grasp the idea/design/construction yet. Each time I look at a tute, I seem to absorb a little more. Hopefully, I'll get to the point where it will all click and I can tackle one. Anyhow, I love scrappies and absolutely love what you've done with yours! Thanks for sharing.

earthwalker 06-19-2012 09:04 PM

Stunning, show-worthy, excellent....what more can I say! 'Tis a beauty indeed. Love it.

Diane on Summit 06-19-2012 10:58 PM

Both are beautiful! How will you decide which side to use? Decisions, decisions.......

jansquiltn 06-20-2012 12:29 AM

That is awesome. Our guild is talking about having a couple of sit n sews and only scraps allowed. You did a marvelous job and it is a treasure.

Mad Mimm 06-20-2012 12:45 AM

I am going to have to say you won the war on the scrap bag. In fact, from the looks of it, your scrap bag never even had a chance! :D Wonderful quilt!!!

junegerbracht 06-20-2012 02:48 AM

Lovely! A step in the right direction to reducing your staff. Need to follow your example.
