Noiseynana 10-11-2011 03:31 AM

OMG!!! That is the most beautiful , colorful fabric I've ever seen !!!!!!!!!! I'd just look at it forever , I'd never be able to cut it up. hehehe

Drue 10-11-2011 03:37 AM

I agree. It looks like a Hoffman (?) Challenge fabric we had at the quilt shop I worked in in '02 and '03. You might go to the Hoffman web site and send the pic along with your question to them.

rootyr 10-11-2011 03:38 AM

wraez, that is what I think also!

toadmomma 10-11-2011 04:26 AM

I think you are right. that was my first thought, the Hoffman Challenge a few year ago. and it was ribbons. No, I dont have any. love the look.

alnpartimequilter 10-11-2011 07:00 AM

Oh I have seen this fabic but in different colors I did a purple squre excange and someone sent a piece to me but it was in purples and greens. Do you have the strip that is on the salvage side of the fabric it will tell you who the maker of the fabric is and what collection it comes from.

LETIA 10-11-2011 07:01 AM

How pretty!

betty jo 10-11-2011 07:03 AM

The fabric is beautiful, but it amazes me that someone on this Board always has a helpful answer. This is the place to come to looking for answers....

grannypat7925 10-11-2011 07:29 AM

Depending on how much you need/want, someone here might have some in their stash.

There is also a website that you can do a search for fabric and contact a quilt shop that has it, but unfortunately I don't know the site. Maybe someone else can help you.

Thanks, missingfabrics.com is what I was thinking about.

QuiltingCrazie 10-11-2011 08:57 AM

I googled it cause you made me curious, it was part of the 2005 Hoffman fabric challenge fabric, try ebay....ribbon in time was what I saw the faric being referred as...

Rock Lady 10-11-2011 08:57 AM

Thank you so very much if you can find it or name it I'll offer a fabric reward and all my fabric is LQS thats how bad I want it.
Sandra

I haven't seen any of this, but I love it. O have some that is similar, but the ribbon effect is not in a group like that, but instead is strewn out all over the fab. piece. I just checked mine, but there is not a name printed on it, I thought it cvould possibly be from the same grouping. Who is the manufactuer? That might help you locate it on the internet or at some of the fab. shops. Have you considered going on the FabShop Hop and checking out the different quilt shops there, you might just possible find it in one of them. How long ago did you purchase it? Good luck I sure hope you find more of it. Keep us posted.

quilter2theend 10-11-2011 10:51 AM

MargeD 10-11-2011 01:40 PM

I have 3/4 of a yard if anyone is interested. I am able to sell but I my health has prevented me from listing anything yet. PM me if you are interested. The fabric has been stored folded. I had thought that I would use it in a Bargello, but it never seemed to work with one.

I think this was a Hoffman Challenge fabric from maybe 10 years or so ago.

pocoellie 10-12-2011 04:13 AM

Sorry I've never seen that fabric, but it's gorgeous, I hope you're able to find it.

pjustice63 10-12-2011 05:18 AM

This was a Hoffman challenge fabric a few years ago. Don't remember the name right now. I made a quilt with it in similar pattern as what you are showing.
I am in Florida right now so don't have access to my fabrics. If you PM me I will check when I get home in about 2 weeks.
Maybe someone else will come up with it before then. If not let me know.
