Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I was really wanting to make a tiny pieced quilt, but ... it was not to be. Now I am happily sorting through my fabric samples and trying to decide what to do for the swap. A learning curve for me. Will take a different approach to quilting it next time.

This is a little beauty and ready for the mailbox! You will find out what your style is the more you make quilts.
It's weird how some pics will show quilt colors exactly as it should be and the next one taken right afterwards will be really off.
If you want to try quilts on a smaller scale, use squares and rectangles first. HST are really tricky. Oh and keep that quilt you passed on. As your patchworking skills improve it will be a gentle reminder of how far you have come.

You are so sweet. Thank you. I really need to learn more about the "lumpiness" of little quilts. So many seams in such a tiny space. I think that was one of the problems with getting points to line up. Maybe sewing by hand would work better?

Really pretty, soft colors and an adorable doll quilt. I've not done a doll quilt for quite a while but remember how much fun they were! Thanks for sharing.
