Very pretty! Thanks for sharing. I love the Dresden Plate quilts. That was the first quilt I pieced when I was a teenager. Still have it. It's never been used. Mama quilted it for me many many years ago. I am almost 71 and you can see how old it is.

Your Dresden Plate quilt is absolutely beautiful. I have plates done, they are all in a blue print fabric, just haven't had the time to get them finished into a quilt. I look forward to seeing how you did your borders.

It's wonderful! I love 1930s fabric and the dresden plate block!

i like the look of your plates. i did a quite large dresden quilt also. i did not put a border on it and it looks nice. sometimes borders take away from the quilt, and in this instance your quilt is beautiful as is.

Your quilt is beautiful. I want to make a dresden plate quilt one day.

It is very pretty! I think a piano key border would be really nice too!

Gorgeous! You don't have scraps left over from that quilt to make a scrappy border? I think that type of border would look good on that quilt.

I also think a wide, busy border like piano keys would be nice, and you should scallop the edge too. The top is beautiful!
