Love the block pattern. Prints from the 30's are my favorite. Is there a name for the block? Or a pattern? Setting your blocks on point really does "the trick". And your hand quilting is exquisite.

The block is churn dash, but it's a little hard to see with all the prints I used. It is quilted by machine-my home machine. The pattern was in a miniature magazine from the 90's.

Very nice. Also like the pink. Is the quilting computerized? All blocks are so precise. What a bargain for the feedsacks. Thanks for sharing.

The quilting was done on my Janome Horizon. I should have clarified that the fabric was mostly in pieces that someone had cut up and used. There were aprons in the barrel, too. I was trying to act calm-hehehe! as I quickly picked it up and hung on tight!!

I adore that quilt! I have collected quite a few feedsacks and am trying to decide which pattern to make. I am such a fan of the "30's quilts...reminds me of home when I was a little girl with my grandmother. So sweet!

I love this! Do they still have feed sack fabric on the market? I say you have a lucky find. What size is this? The quilting is wonderful too.

Neat little quilt! Great assortment of fabrics, and love the pink to tie it all together! :)

That is really darling. Love vintage fabrics and the pink does set it all off beautifully. The blocks are so tiny - you have more patience than I! And I'm a bit envious - are all your UFO's REALLY done?????? I don't think I know anyone who has none at all lurking about!
