There will be 20 blocks that surround the larger center medallion. The blocks are 12" and the medallion is 26". There will also be a border between the center medallion and the blocks, and the border will have appliqued vines and poppies on it. I want my version to be even larger than the pattern, so I'll add an additional border of the vines and poppies around the outside of the blocks, too.

I do a blanket stitch by machine using the smallest settings for length and width.
