I'm always so happy to see what you are creating! Every aspect of your quilts (pattern, color choices, fabrics and craftsmanship) are all amazing!
It's funny you mentioned Kai scissors. I started out with my grandmothers Gingers which I had sharpened. Went dull bought new 2x. I now have 3 pair of Gingers that are not easy to use (I only use them for fabric). In my research in trying to find the best scissors, it seems that the Kai Professional Series (7000?) are the best.
My question is............. are they worth the price ($129}?

I bought the "gift" set, which is 3 sizes in one box for I think $40. It is worth every penny and I would gladly pay twice that for it, they are that good. I also ordered a larger pair of Kai scissors with the larger handles (since I'm a guy, big hands) while at their booth in Paducah in April. I had them put a serrated edge on them ($5 extra) and they cut fantastic. I am a big believer in Kai scissors, I don't even use the Gingers that I have any more.
