Thanks so much everyone! I have to thank you on the compliments of the bedroom set. That is a stanley reproduction set , I bought 15 years ago from JC Penny's. I have to have a footstool to get into it because it is so high off the floor. LOL...

I loved working on this quilt for my son and his wife. I have had it finished for some time now, but it was way too big for me to finish on my quilt table. And to tell the truth, I wanted better quilting on it then my skills would provide. So off to the long armer's house it went today for some custom quilting.
I am so excited to see it finished. This was a BOM quilt top from Going Batty quilt shop. I will never forget the first time I saw a prototype up on the wall in thier shop. It stopped me in my tracks! Then when I saw all the lovely homey words printed in the fabrics, that was it for me. I had to make it. I hope you like it too. |
BEAUTIFUL !!!!! I agree, the quilt needs to stay on that bed - so beautiful together. Thanks for sharing.

Some of the words are home, family, stability, love and affection. I can't recall them all right now. LOL! |
