What great way to use up your thrifty fabric...it made a colorful jelly roll rug.

I was unaware that you could purchase batting strips. I have so much batting here I think I would use my own and just cut the 2.5" strips.
Did you use the pattern from Nancy's to make the rug? It looks like pretty easy to do without a pattern, but what I sometimes think looks easy isn't. Do you recommend that pattern? Finally, the pattern states that it is for a specific size. I would love to make one that is long and narrow for my upstairs hallway. Now that you have made one, do you think it would be easy to alter the pattern size to fit a space you would need it to fit? Thanks! Suzanne |
Very pretty rug and very lady like.

Very, very pretty. Love that jelly roll. Putting this on my list to do.

When we buy fabric we pay for both sides, so one can use the side we like the best. You made a great choice to use the 'back' of the fabric to calm it down.
Might cut my batting into strips as I get them to make a rug in the 'future'. |
I have the materials, but haven't started yet. Yours is beautiful.

Super cute! Great job!
