I really, really, really want to keep the wonky edge, BUT can someone please help me with how to accomplish that!! I thought it would be a piece of cake, but WOW all those inside corners...ughhh!! I am also tossing around the idea of binding it...BUT again, all those insides =D

Sorry, I can't help, but I love seeing the progress of your quilt. I'm really not a pastell type of person myself but I truly like your GFG and have watched the progress so far. Curious to see how you solve this last problem.

You've come this far ... you can do it!
Patience, Kitten! :) |
I think the wonky edging would be nice. If you did a thin binding maybe that would go round the corners easier. What about using commercial binding it is usually a lot thinner than the fabric we use, but might not be as robust.
Other than that, I like your last picture too. I like your quilt though, pretty colors. |
On edges like that you have to make bias binding so it can be turned.

What about whole cloth binding. Ive seen this in a magazine, but dont remember which one. Maybe you could find a tut??? Best of luck.

I like the 1st idea you posted. I saw a pattern for honeycomb patchwork bag in the Australian 50th edition of Quilters Companion that had it finished with the inside layered under the uneven edges of hexagons to create a smooth edge, like the examples you posted. It looked nice. Unfortunately I couldn't find it online but maybe you will have a better search :) good luck!
