Eddie you amaze me at your talent and how many projects you turn out. I cant believe you are so new to all this, God has truly given you a gift of sewing/quilting

I love your fabric bowl. I want to try this some time. I'm wondering . . . how did your hands hold up? I have arthritis in my right hand index finger in the big knuckle, and I worry that this will be too hard on my hand to do. Did you find it to be tedious in that way?

Eddie, that fabric is beautiful. Guess I'd better drive the hour today to the nearest WM with fabric.
Oh well, wanted to get out of the house anyway. The bowl is great. I have been thinking about doing some. Waiting for your tut. :-) |
I've made 3 of these and love doing it. I want to start one and make a lid. I'm back in practice stage and am making coasters. If anyone is interested in trying this ....that would be a good place to start.

Eddie-great job on the bowl!! It looks amazing. My first attempts at anything never look that good!!

Your fabric bowl is fantastic :)
I love making those! I have some on my to do list for this year. I've only ever made them for others so far - time to take care of me for change! Love your choice in fabric!! |
Eddie, your bowls are beautiful! I have made several of these as gifts so I can't show pictures, but I was wondering why you use glue. I did not use glue and I used the stepping zig-zag stitch which gives each stitching line more sturdy. Is that the same stitch you used? I am curious if the glue would make a difference. Seeing your beautiful bowls makes me want to make some more. Everything you make is beautiful!!!!!!
Have a great day! Jackie |
