I agree with black for the binding; if you don't want to do them all, you could do a few (!) of your favourites as individual wall hangings then group them together. Just an idea - I'm good at finding work for other people! LOL

PS If you're PMing patterns, can you add me to the list? I want to do a 'flower of the month' appliqué wall hanging at some stage so I'm
collecting flower appliqués. Thanks in advance!

Kathryn

Thanks for your comments, maybe I will make afew of the other blocks too - you never know.!!!
The lilac one is so beautiful but there are loads of small flowers that make up the individual lilac.
Anyhow if you want copies PM me your email & I'll send them on over to you.

Thanks for your comments Loretta - yes the technique used for the Geranium gives it a sort of 3D effect.

Its lovely and your work is sooo beautiful!

Can you tell me the name of the pattern and where you bought it? I'd like to look at it

Ah Patti

Thanks for your comments - yes the Geranium is a sort of 3D effect which I think makes it look so realistic. I'll email you the info, do you want the other 9 (I think) LOL blocks that go with it. Each one is a different flower. If I remember before I go to my next meeting I'll get the lady those made all of them to bring the quilt along for me to take pics & then I can post here for all to see. That won't be until the third Monday in the month though if you don't mind waiting until then. :D
Let me know for certain.

Did you needle turn?

Sewspecial

Thank you for your comments.

Yes I used the needle turn technique I was alittle aprehensive at first as I am very self critical of my work  But overall I'm very pleased with the end result. I'll have to do more now I think, as it's kind of addictive

So would I Loretta LOL
I may well give that one a go next, I'll need to search for some variegated fabric to give it a realistic look though. I think Makower do some - will have to do a search. I'll be thinking of you Loretta every inch of the way, wish me luck.
