I am so sorry. I didn't mean to send this picture on this thread. This was my first time to post a picture and I didn't realize I did it in the wrong place until I had sent it.

lovestoquilt -- that quilt is just flipping gorgeous! Almost worth staying married for -- well, maybe not   But it is beautiful!!

Moose I love those colors! You might try a rainbow colored thread for the top and whichever color matches the back for bobbin.

lovetoquilt that's a gorgeous log cabin!

I really like the batik blocks you've used. The pillow top looks just lovely.

As for the purple log cabin - Wow what more can I say.

(Just a hint...if you find that you have posted something where you didn't want it...you can contact a moderator and they can fix it for you...like Shadow Dancer or Patrice...just send them a PM..(private message))

sandpat - thank you for being such a kind person...

No big deal. I also just realized that my/this thread was moved from Main to Pictures... oops. No matter how hard I try to post in the right place, it never seems to work out.

Gorgeous quilt!

Thanks for all of your kind words. I now know that I should have posted on pictures. I have a few more to send later. You all are so kind. Thanks again.

Don't be afraid of free motion. Make up some samples with a top, batting and backing. Use some leftovers. Then practice, practice, practice. The nice part is if you make a mistake, you are usually the only one who knows.
