I managed to get a total of 18 blocks done this past week. 30 still to go, but only the last 2 rounds on each of those. I'm actually looking forward to doing one of these in pastel, maybe yellows, reds & oranges, maybe peaches and blues, maybe??? Yeah, ummm...I think I"m hooked! AND already have lots of extra pieces already cut, leftover ends from the strips, so can see a LOT more lob cabins in my quilting future.
Anyway, here's where I'm at as of today! Finished grouping of four blocks: Finished grouping of 16 blocks: |

That is gorgeous. I have almost enough fabric gathered to make the same quilt. Thanks for sharing.

So very pretty. The log cabin is a favourite block. I plan on making a log cabin quilt in 2013. Yours is inspirational.

It's going to be so pretty. I love the one I made. I'm collecting fabrics with a black background right now to make another. I found purple flowers, green stems and a tad of white and yellow in several different prints to use. Then for the other side, I'm collecting greenery on black backgrounds. I think it will be really pretty. Going to try a block to see how it looks soon. I absolutely fell in love with Karla's!
