is this like a stack and whack but with a four patch this quilt is beautiful
|
That is such a pretty quilt!

it's a stack and whack in that there are four layers, pinned in matching areas so fabric won't shift. then cut strips and cut those into squares. four layers of squares make each block. just turn and make designs as you go.
this print was about 24 inch across. I think i cut three or four inch strips, then cut three or four inch squares of course. easy to do. this was popular a few yrs ago and there is lots of info out there on it. |
Great quilt. Is there a free pattern available for this?

i have some other yardage i want to make another out of. i've seen them with paisley prints, etc. doesn't have to be "posies". Beeeeeauuuuuutiful!!!!!!!!!!!! If you haven't quilted your quilt yet, do include some of the virgin fabric on the back. The green is absolutely perfect for the sashing. |
