If they are all 12" it will be too long for what I want since I'll be adding a sash between the rows as well. Hope you like it.

How pretty your rows are everyone! cowpie I'm glad you posted yours, I was so curious what it looked like!

Your label will be beautiful with it!

yes they are kaleidoscopes (stack n'whack). took all my patience since I am not a perfectionist by any stretch.

I really like the kaleidoscope- have not attempted one of them yet, nor a stack 'n whack- I guess I am just into simple blocks right now and playing with color.

Everyone's rows and blocks are so pretty so far. This is so much fun!

BTW, I mailed my row out yesterday. I PM'd Elizabeth about it... yaayyy!!!

debe 04-04-2011 01:16 PM

Linda: kaleidoscope/stack 'n' whack are for perfectionists...which i am not and will never be so will won't do again for awhile (like simple and quick)...glad hear you mailed yours...where are the pix :)

Thanks, Debe, next time I take a picture, it is going to be outside so that the colors will be true, though.

Here are my blocks finally. My first attempt did not work out, so I am using blocks from an online group with the same theme. They are much brighter in person.
They will be in the mail tomorrow.

They are all Carol Doak patterns. Some free ones from her yahoo group, and some from her books.

Karen, I got your center medallion today and WOW! WOW! WOW! Your origami flowers are gorgeous. I'm going to FL this week to spend Mother's Day with my 85 y.o. Mom and will be auditioning fabrics and patterns when I return next week for the next round.

OK, got some great batiks and am going to tackle the ten minute block of yours one day, soon. It looks like fun, I have not ever made one!

c joyce 05-07-2011 04:38 AM

Karen didn't post a picture, but I will do a before & after. I'm visiting my Mom in FL for Mother's Day and will be home next week to start working on it.
