I've been playing with my embroidery machine and decided to get started on some Christmas gifts. These are free standing lace and I'm going to put one in all of my Christmas cards that I send out this year.

and more these are snowflakes and a 3d angel that I could not get a good pic of. It is three pieces that are put together.

Those are lovely. I have only tried to pieces of lace in my embroidery unit. I really love the angel. Maybe I will have to try and do some more sometime. Do yours come out really stiff too? Maybe my washaway stabilizer didn't all wash away.

Mine are just the right stiffness. I read somewhere that if they are too stiff you can just rinse them more. If they are not stiff enough you can take a couple of small scraps of your stabilizer and soak them in a small dish and add your design and it will make it stiffer. |
