Beautiful quilt and nostalgic too...is that cardboard that I see in each of the hexagons? Can you just tell me in a nutshell how you did this to get all of the hexagons to look so crisp and correct? Thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous. I do like the pellon idea. GFG is one of my favorite quilts.
