Very nice!! Your quilting looks very traditional, compliments the quilt beautifully.

You said it was originally tied. Didn't that leave holes??

What a lovely quilt. Very striking in the two colors.

NO!!! I was surprised, too! But she daubed it with a wet sponge and kinda scraped it with her fingernails.....and the holes are gone!

Gorgeous quilt ! How long does it take to get to this level of quilting?

:) Gita.....I've worked on the quilting for three years.....Been doing customer quilts for about 1 1/2 yrs (now retiring from quilting and traveling for a year. Lots of PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE some more. I have quilted dozens of doggie blankets (sheets to practice on) and by doing customer quilts, it FORCED me to not play around, but to seriously try hard to quilt them nicely. :) :)

thank you everyone!

As always - Wonderful job! To let you know there is hope - we had one given to us that was a bleeder, since we really didn't have much to lose washed it (and dried) about 6 times. the final time as the charm, it was almost perfect.
