Absolutely beautiful quilt! I could only live long enough to make something of that beauty...I know your friend will be so happy. Very kind of you to do this for your friend. You just earned another star in your heavenly crown.

Gerbie, Hope's Rose Garden is amazing. Beautiful, stunning, wonderful all come to mind. What an amazing job you did on the hand work; deep down you know it was worth it!

Very elegant! It's plain pattern screams elegant! Love that it's reversible and I love the backing. The roses set on the white background are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Hope is a dear friend, 92 years old and will be the Grand Marshall in our annual "West of the Pecos Rodeo Parade" next week. She is from a pioneer ranching family in our county here in Pecos, Tx.. Pecos is listed as Home of the World's First Rodeo. I am going to deliver her quilt tomorrow.
I fussy cut, then machine appliqued each rose on the front. The front is cream colored. The backing is made from two pima cotton sea foam green sheets, that she chose. The quilt is reversible and I do hate hand work, but it is necessary when doing a reversible quilt, there is roughly 269 feet of hand work on this quilt.
I do hope I can get a picture of this quilt posted. Wish me luck, Well it looks like both pictures are going to post. The first picture is the back of the quilt. Thanks for gazing at my some of my work.Gerbie
