What marvelous use of your time off. Most of us would whine if it rained all week during our vacation. But you just switched gears and see all you accomplished. Congrats!

Love your quilts! Very nice handquilted daisies. I'm so happy to have your company with both hand and machine quilting in the same quilt. I do it, too.

Thank you! I used just 2 blocks for the Daisy Delight: a 9-patch variation and an 8-point star using flying geese for the points. The center squares of each were cut 4 1/2 inches and the rest 2 1/2 inch strips.

ktmo815 05-22-2011 06:11 AM

GrammaBabs 05-22-2011 06:48 AM

Sometimes i think we are given these "rainy" times for a reason... i'm in love with your Puppy quilt... now if only some of your ambition would rub off on me... i just keep "looking" at my room of MESS and say... maybe tomorrow... then say, right after i get this thing done... start another project...
oh and ps... i'm in Middleboro, MA... here at oakpointhomes.com... come on down sometime for the "free" openhouses they have every so many months... it's amazing... it's to get people interested,,, but actually it's their way of doing something for those of us that live here and advertising at the same time... and i promise you it's "free" music and refreshemnts... today is a "car show" with music and goodies.. come on down... !!! (ps.. we have a quilt group here as well).. :)barbara
