I know bargellos are a lot of work but they just aren't my style. Yours however is gorgeous, love the blues and the pattern.

What a beautiful quilt! Soon I am going to try a Bargello. I just think they are my favorite quilts.

WOW, beautiful quilt. I think you did a great job.

A curve would be nice, but the way you designed it is unique. Ever consider writing up your pattern? I would make this in a heartbeat - but a tad smaller!

Your quilt is just beautiful. How do you keep up with where to sew what? I have never attempted a Bargello.

Thanks for the nice comments! I would love to write something like: making bargellos easy and painless. I think of it as a giant puzzle which needs putting together! All I do is create the design, find matching runs, sew the color strips together, cut, label where everything goes, then sew away! Occasionally I get it wrong, but it is so easy to replace a block, or a group of blocks, that I don't stress over it. I have the hardest time following book instructions so I take a few principles and work it in my own way. I think that if I tried to stick with the instructions, I would have given up - no offenses to those who wrote the books - they are wonderfully done - I am a little bit of a dud when trying to follow them. I fumble all around until I get it. So, I do it my uncomplicated way!
