It's so beautiful! I saw a very old machine at Goodwill last night but I'm determined not to start another collection! If anyone is in Seattle and you're interested, it's at the Goodwill on Dearborn.

Very nice, my hubs has been surfing ebay and keeping watch for me, at first I didn't know he was doing it but he finally told me. I took my machine in for its yearly checkup and it took longer than they told me because they were busy. It drove me nuts and he started looking then.

I feel really lucky, the only machine I don't have backup for is the embroidery machine.

She is beautiful. I agree. I hope I look that good at 90. I just
hope I make it to 90 or maybe not, depends on health.

Did you post it with a picture here on the Board? Bet someone would be happy to purchase it from you...I for one would love to see it :!:

Wow. I wish I could find one. My grandmother left me the machine and after years of using it and then buying a new Singer I gave it to my sister to re-do. She re-did it alright...threw away the machine and kept the cabinet! I was heart broken when I got it back. I re-did the cabinet, cleaned it up and its just waiting for another machine to go in it! :) I LOVED that machine! You are lucky to have found such a pretty one!

who'd a thunk, well, I will see about getting some pics posted, if I can figure out how to do it. It would be awfully expensive to ship, but I guess it's worth a shot. I think some of the belts are worn and probably would have to be replaced, guess that is expected on a machine that is vintage, assuming you can still get parts for them. Thanks for the reply.
