I really like your quilt and I love the way the border echoes the blocks on the quilt. It makes for a really nice looking border. You did a great job on the quilting..it was fun wasn't it??

Wow! Some day (hopefully) I will be as skilled as you!

Don't be silly, GMarie! You could do this one too. It looks harder than it is!

Wow! That is one gorgeous quilt! I love the black and the way the quilting stands out. It is so pretty.

That would make a great quilt for using up scraps...wheels are turning!!!

The more I look at your quilt, the more I like it....and would consider making one. Could you tell me what size it is and where could I find the pattern?

Thanks.

Thanks, Brenda! I did the same thing....I looked at the pattern quite a few times, and it really grew on me! It's in one of my quilt books called "Favorite Quilts from Anka's Treasures by Heather Mulder Peterson. It's called Flower Boxes, and the original pattern also shows appliqued flowers along the outside black borders; however, I liked it better with just the black. I'm sure it would be pretty either way. In the colour options, they have also done it on a creamy background, which is also very pretty, so I guess it's whatever your preference is. It's not a difficult project, and it uses up lots and lots of scraps. The only thing I had to purchase was the black background. I hope you get a chance to make it, I think you'll love it! Oh, the finished size is 63 1/2"x 72 1/2".

Thanks for the info on the quilt pattern. I've been looking for just the right pattern for one of my grand daughters. I'm going to take a look at it. Yours inspired me. :D
