Behold the beauty of our quilting board. If not for this board I would never have known about Judi's exquisite long arming. I discovered her only through her posts pictured on this board. The pictures were more then enough for me to know she was the one who would be quilting this quilt for me. We have many talented long armers here. If you see something posted by one of them any of them will be happy to work with you to longarm your quilt I am sure. Just click their name and PM them, thats what I did.

You are an awesome long arm quilter!!!
I'm new to long arm quilting and am having such a time trying to decide how to quilt a top once it is done. Looks like quite a bit of SID as well as free motion too. I'm beginning to see the importance of SID especially when I look at the back of the quilt. Any tips on deciding what to quilt where?

WOW!!! Absolutely amazing. Both of you did a fantastic job.

I was able to go from one side of the quilt to the other without stopping, which saves a huge amount of time. She did request that the borders look 3-D and I think with the simple straight stitching that request was fulfilled. This is what I came up with. I hope she likes it! This was done on my A-1 Long Arm.

The quilting is FANTASTIC!!!!

I just decided that I don't have time to quilt because I am admiring everyone's work and I get so much enjoyment from their work.
You did a super job of machine quilting and as well as composing the quilt.

Hi, I sent Judi (Green Fairy) the bat with the quilt. It was Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 blend. I have since received the quilt back and seeing it in person just floors me. Her longarming is just drop dead gorgeous. I love what she did for this quilt. I also asked her how long it took her and she guesstimated around 20 hours. It certainly shows!

PS, your quilting is pretty darn phenominal too!
