I assume my family will have a garage sale just like that after I die. They will sell hundreds of yards of fabric for about $.18 a yard. I better get it used up - we can't afford the loss.

roseOfsharon 03-26-2010 04:20 PM

Oh my golly ghee! that is quite a bargin indeed! I should be so lucky!

What a find!!! Do you feel like you just found a chest of gold dubloons? I know I would. I've gotten some great buys lately but your's is phenomenal.

JoyjoyMarie 03-26-2010 05:17 PM

OMG! There's a whole world of green (with envy) quilters out there drooling over your find! Way to hop on the opportunity - We all are really happy for you, because it means our ship may come in someday too - if we just stay alert. Good luck stashing your stash away (I wouldn't have enough storage for all that!) Can't wait to see all your new creations!

Patty Patches 03-26-2010 05:18 PM

I worked till three o'clock this morning and got a lot done. I have 2 bags and one laundry basket left to do today, and the rest had to go in tubs in the garage....wow...that turned into work ...I cut from each fabric just 1/2 yards and FQ off and put the rest in the closet for more cutting later for friends (I like to work with smaller pieces, because my work space is small). But the dinning room is cleared again and we have a place to eat...lmao

pretty organized by 3am :-)

still have to cut these today

Elisabrat 03-28-2010 04:39 AM

Stash it at my house he will never know. Shhhh, dont anyone tell him. You won the fabric lotto to be sure. Now you can never go into a store again until you use it all (like that would happen.. a quilters worst nightmare not shopping for MORE fabric.. just one tiny piece)
