Gosh, that brings back good memories. My now 20 yr. old son got a sock monkey as a baby gift. He loved that little guy! I made him a few outfits, and my son played all kinds of games with him (including "girlie games" like tea party and putting my costume jewelry on him.)

I love those sock dolls. I made them for the grandkids, when the socks were cheaper to find. Now I've grown old and can't afford the jacked up price for them. With 13 great grands that would have made wonderful gifts. Enjoyed seeing yours. I have a pattern i might knit for a sock monkey.
