The design is beautiful. Hurry get it done so we can see.

I was just thinking about how the weave squares could be quilted and maybe not even quilting them would be best. Do like the satin pillow and sew a bead at each intersection, sewing through all layers of the quilt to secure it.
It would be like tying, like the quilts I've seen where a button was sewn on in place of each tie. That could be really pretty. |

I need to order the white fabric, probably Moda Bella Solids, and find the frame and border fabric I want to use. These are all the fabrics I have gathered for it. |
Instead of setting triangles, what if you sewed a green square to the ends of the weave, then square it up after? There would be some waste (unless you use small triangle scraps for other projects), but it might be quicker to assemble.
Pretty design! |
Yes, since it is on point it would be trimmed on the bias anyway.
I want to work on it NOW!! |
I so love the fabrics you have picked out. It is going to be one beautiful quilt. Please keep us posted with your progress on this one.

I ordered 1000 Swarovski pearls in 4mm size to sew at the intersections. If it doesn't work out I can always make some necklaces and bracelets. :D
