Very nice.
You might consider at least basting some of the green and white hexies as you go along. That way you don't get to the end and get bored with only those colors to work with! You don't have to attach them just baste and wait till you are ready to construct the whole thing.
Just a little experience talking.
It is a great beat-the-heat project when it is in the early stages.
Keep up the good work.

the only problem with basting the white, I don't have any. I'm thinking I'll use muslin for the back so maybe that for the front as well? I'm not sure yet. But I do have some green cut out so I could add those. thanks for the suggestion and all the comments! I'm having more fun than I thought as it's easier than I thought it would be.

It looks like a great "take along" project when you are traveling. Our guild is going to have one of our members teach us the hexagon process in October. We're looking forward to it.

It is a great "take along" project. I have mine in a little white basket that fits on any end table.

I have been adding the path to each block as I sew along and I have been sewing them together. :)

well I finished those 2 and another flower, and decided on my layout. I'll post that too. I'm loving how it's turning out, and I want to do one of my little flowers with some leaves, then I'll put the leaves on the other 3 flowers

3 completed flowers

these aren't the colors I'm using, that was just so I could see how the flowers would look with that layout
