That is beautiful! I love the sashing fabric of the little vines shading in all the colors you used in the quilt. Good thing you had fabric you could substitute for the velvet you didn't want to work with in the kit. It looks great!

This is beautiful. I would have had to take out velvets also. However, I did see a quilt yesterday that had strips of velvet intertwined with other deep colors. It was beautiful and that little strip of velvet added such depth and cozy feel.

I have a question that I hadn't thought to ask earlier... the "v" of the heart is actually a prairie point. Instructions did not tell me to sew it down, but should I? Never did prairie points before. Thanks! |
