Your work is beautiful. I have an off topic question. Is your avitar Topo Gego (sp) from the Ed Sullivan show?
|
Thanks everyone. It's really a fun and challenging project. As to how many layers, etc. , you embroider on the top and batting, and then you add the backing and do the quilting through all layers. I'm still learning as I go about this, but the book is very good.
If you want to see more information, I think the website is www.infinityquilt.com.au Janome put it together as a kit with the book, the CD, and the special rulers that are really neat. It was pricey though, but I got it as a birthday present. Shandy |
Yes, that's Topo Gigio from Ed. Sullivan. It was the only time I got to stay up late on Sunday nights, when little Topo was on, or the performing elephants. That, my dears, was a very long time ago:)
Eddie........keees me good night? Topo was so very cute. Shandy |

I love it! How large are your blocks? Can't wait to see the finished quilt!

The blocks finish, I think at 15 inches square, and 12 of them surround a large centre panel that I've just started working on......
