Did you use Rhonda Byers rulers for the curved crosshatch?? Which ones do you have and how do you like them? Looking to order and can't decide which sizes to get.

Thank you!!! I used the Fine Line Curved Xhatching tool from Accents in Design....... http://www.accentsindesign.com/fineline.html I think I have the middle size. Need to order bigger -- the big triangles were 18" wide on the bottom and I had to fudge with the middle ruler. I LOVE her rulers......I use them almost exclusively (and no, I don't get anything for recommending them!!!)

Beautiful work!!! You're really talented with your ruler work. I've tried using my curved rulers for crosshatching and haven't had much luck. Thank you for sharing!

Oh Dee, it is beautiful. I can hardly wait to see it in person. Just to clarify the history, this is one of six quilt tops I made from blocks that my sister-in-law's mother hand pieced in the 1930's. My sister-in-law found them in a bag at the bottom of a cedar chest and wanted five tops made for her children. This top is a mixture of the blocks that were left from the other tops. There were 42 of the Grandmothers Fan blocks and 42 of the 4-pointed star blocks. I was honored to be asked to piece tops so that the blocks were used. Thank you for making this top a reality and I love it and know that my sister-in-law will also.
