Beautiful! I would have a hard time deciding which side I wanted to show. The back is wonderful, too.

Your quilting is so beautiful!
What a beautiful quilt! I was at Fabric Depot for the first time a couple of weeks ago - isn't it amazing! I think I'll have to go back again!
What a perfect idea for creating a sampler of quilting designs for clients to choose from. Should garner a ton of interest in your booth.
Omgoodness I am speechless, simply gorgeous

I love what you've done & I'm sure it will help in your booth as the quilting is fantastic.

Well I don't have a lot of time for piecing......but I love LAQing. ( I think you all know that) So I have been taking "Cheater" prints and making quilts.
I wanted some new samples for my booth ( next show is MQX....YAY!) .....as soon as I saw this at Fabric Depot in Portland..I knew what I could do with it.....I had a hard time choosing which color way I wanted.....in the end I chose this one. The creamy butter center was just perfect for showcase quilting. I had never been to Fabric Depot before....WOW! It was a bit overwhelming....there was so much of EVERYTHING there. If you are ever in the Portland area you should stop by there. I am trying to decide which color of binding to use...the charcoal black color to frame it all in...a pretty stripe? The same blue color as the border? HMMMM? I used two layers of batting....legacy 80/20 and hobbs poly down. I hope you all have a blessed day! |
Charisma! You are amazing!!!
Just beautiful, as usual.
You are my hero. Superquilter!
Charsima, Honestly once again you prove that you could make a burlap bag look fabulous! Gorgeous quilt and amazing quilting. By "cheater" fabric, do you mean that pattern is the fabric? If so, you made it look quilted!
Re: Fabric Depot: It's my FAVORITE place to buy quilt fabrics other than a wholesale fabric store on Harry Hines Blvd which I frequent when I'm in Dallas. The Yard Sale room at Fabric Depot in back and out in the yard when the weather is nice are my favorite. I begin there and then look at the other fabrics on the main floor (that have been on sale for 35% off when I've been there). I went during the quilt show a few weekends ago and bought waaaaay too much fabric. |

What is MQX? Re: Fabric Depot: It's my FAVORITE place to buy quilt fabrics other than a wholesale fabric store on Harry Hines Blvd which I frequent when I'm in Dallas. Another question: Why did you use two layers of batting? I've been wondering how to make my quilts THICKER without using poly batting.
I like DogHouseMom's idea of striped binding to go with circles. Fabric hunting time...love it.
Charisma, I am in such AWE of you!!! You are amazing!
Absolutely stunning!! How about pulling the purple or lavender from the circles to use for the border? You can send it to me when you're done showing it! OMG!! My colors and everything!!
wow its gorgeous!!!
As usual, you did a beautiful job. I love the way you are able to show so many patterns of your FMQ. It doesn't look like a cheater--just a gorgeous quilt!
all I can say is WOW!
Absolutely beautiful!! Your choice of fabric is pretty but it is the qilting that makes it pop.
Really stunning!
Beautiful! Wow! What do you charge? I have been making a BOM quilt all year and want it quilted. It should be done in November. It will be king sized. I absolutely LOVE and ADMIRE your work!! :)
That is wonderful!!
You are truely an amazing artist with your quilting.
Sharon |
Wonderful fabric to showcase your beautiful quilting!!!
OMG , you have a gifted talent. Awesome work. Awesome choises of color and stitches.
Just amazing. You are a true artist
What a great idea! Your quilting always looks spectacular, no matter what you do it on!
Lady you are something else. Your love of LAQing shows. Is there nothing you can't do? BrendaK
what a stunning quilt! the colors are perfect!
Gorgeous as usual! Since the quilt already has the turquoise border, why don't you pick up the pink (I know how much you like pink:)) with another smaller border and then frame it with a larger border using the charcoal black?
