I've seen several post about this subject. I just got done cutting strips for a quilt. There is almost no waste. Here is a picture after I cut all the strips today. The pile on the left is the waste and the pile on the right will go into a rag quilt. As long as you lay your fabric out right you use almost all of it. I love my GO cutter.

I will have to check into the GO cutter.

I LOVE mine, too. I got it because I have lost some use of hands due to neuropathy. I cut strips the other day to do a quilted jacket and I was amazed at the amount of waste. Yeah!!

I love your fabric choices.

Wow!

I would love to have one but I wish they had a place you could rent the dies because I don't want to buy them for a one time use.

Agree there is little waste.....I love my GO, and it really speeds me up. Love it to cut binding strips.

Maybe you could work something out with some other quilters in you area to either share dies or borrow them. You can't go wrong with the strip dies. They are well worth the money an you would get a lot of use out of them. I already have 35 dies for my GO. I also plan to get a couple of the new ones that they are testing to see if they are going to be added permanately in a few weeks.
