Gives me ideas! Thanks

Wow! That's great looking.

The lightness of the windmill blades makes it look like motion. Good job.

I've been experimenting in "liberated" piecing. It takes a little foresight to put one together but this was fun. Only wish I would've used a little more contrast in windmill and sky. This should be in OK tomorrow. Just the windmill is first.

Thanks you for the kind words. This is a stretch for me; my third liberated project. I took pictures as I went through the process.
QuiltE--no this is for the doll quilt swap here on board; not sure how "liberated" my little community is--lol Cheshirecatquilter--I really like your idea, but I am not very steady with a pen or paint brush. Whenever I try to touch something up like you suggest, I just mess it up and find it best to leave it be. Otherwise I would take the suggestion and run with it. CotUninverse--liberated quilting is a free style approach to piecing. Think "Gee's Bend" quilts. Gwen Marston is a pioneer in it applying it to modern day quilting. Accurate cutting and sewing are not the norm! |
really cute and creative
