I finished another quilt for Christmas last night. This one is titled "Baywatch" and is for a granddaughter and her husband. They lived in the Northeast while she was doing her residency and would go boating often. So, I wanted something with a nautical look. Hubby insisted there had to be a submarine in the water since he is a retired submariner.
The photos of Baywatch are on page three of my Webshots album 2008 Quilts. http://community.webshots.com/album/568730025LqxhQh |
Awesome job! Yup, gotta have a sub in there!!
I asked hubby one day that when he's out to sea, can he see the subs "swimming" under him. lol He's on a Sub Tender now and is off subs. I'm sure you've seen the picture of the surface ship and the subs under it. |
very nice looking quilt.

Thank you Terri. Does the Navy still offer dependents cruises? I was able to go on the USS Nebraska in 1999 and had a blast. That's one of the nuclear subs. We went out in the Atlantic and down some 700 feet whatever the subs number is.
