Here are the market bags I made for one of my son's teachers... I made her two and put a $10 grocery store gift card in one of the pockets :)
I just looove this fabric! I got it at Sir's in Fayetteville, TN (which is not one of my favorite fabric stores since they mostly have seconds and flat folds) but I did fall in love with this black paisley material. I made myself a few as well but ran out of the material I was using for the sides & straps :( I don't see myself getting out there any time in the near future so I'll probably just pick up some twill at Wallyworld... That teacher is going looove you ;-)

Your son's teacher is going to love the gift you made for her. My sister was a teacher and received more coffee cups than you can imagine. She would have loved receiving a market bag.

What a great teachers gift. That's so thoughtful of you.

Those are really pretty. It's really nice to reward those who have made a difference in our children's lives.

Lucky Teacher - what a great teacher gift idea! I'm beyond the teacher gift point, but it's a great gift for anyone.
