Well, what a great quilt! It satisfies two things that I am uncomfortable with -- scrappy and wonky layout. I think I want to try this one (or one similar). My nephew said that his favorite color is blue. So this is enough blue to make it a blue quilt. I've got loads of scraps, but never seem to "get around" to do anything with them because of the urge to organize the scraps, which I never have gotten a hang of. So QUESTION:: Where do you start the block? Do they all start with a square in the "middle" or what do you do? AND Do you have a foundation under the square? I assume that you cut them wonky after the block is made. So many dumb questions, but I need to know. Oh, and did I say that your quilt is gorgeous?!!

I love this!!!! I love how the squares are all intentionally wonky. The colors are great, and the overall effect is fun and still masculine. Great job!

I like the fact that you used sashing instead of butting them together. Nice.

What a gorgeous quilt! Love the way you controlled the wilder colors and wonkiness of the blocks by using the sashing, cornerstones and borders in the same color family --- very effective!! I'm going to have to remember your quilt when I start making quilts from all the scraps, its wonderful. Your nephew is going to love it.
