Miniature Quilt Design....should it fly?
1 Attachment(s)
I have just spent the last 3-4 hours designing this minature quilt which I plan to submit to one of the local guilds I belong to be used in silent auction to help raise money for the Historical society.
I designed and created it in EQ7 by manipulating 3 blocks which are 1) 4 X Variation; 2) 4-patch Variation 3; 3) Box In A Box Variation as well as for the border using a corner block and retanglular border. I manipulated it until I got a design I liked by flipping it around some. These will not be the colors I'll be using. I most likely will be using Batiks which I love. I use a palette in the program to create it. So what are your opinions of this design, is it something I should even consider submitting for the silent auction? |
I like it, but personally, I would like something different in the center of the quilt. Be sure to post it when it's finished!

I like it a lot but maybe you could add one more border. Or maybe it's the pic that makes center seem too big for the rest?

on the right side border you have one block that is smaller than the others. Is this on purpose?
